Wide range of air-handling systems
We provide a wide range of air-handling systems for various services within the plants. First of all, the ventilation system for our enclosures is designed to ensure the correct internal conditions for the operation of the machines installed inside. We also design and supply air intake and exhaust systems for turbomachines which are suitable for on-shore and offshore installations in all conditions, including anti-icing skid packages for use in very cold conditions, that are designed to prevent the filtering front from freezing. Our ducting systems are completed by a wide range of expansion joints, regulation and shut-off dampers designed for extreme uses typical of oil and gas applications, including MED fire-rated class solutions.

Industrial plants that use thermal machines, such as power generation and gas compression plants, need to segregate machines in enclosed spaces for noise containment and safety reasons, so adequate ventilation systems must be installed in the areas in which the machines are contained.
These systems have to meet stringent requirements in terms of heat dissipation, pressure and adequate air circulation and stratigraphy within these spaces. A correctly designed ventilation system ensures the best performance from the machine, and also makes the surrounding environment safe, especially in conditions where an explosive gas atmosphere is likely to occur, such as oil and gas applications.
The systems manufactured by Sistemi Industriali are designed with state-of-the-art tools, which enable CFD and FEM analyses to be conducted to ensure that plants can be installed even in offshore environments where mechanical stresses can be extreme.
Sistemi Industriali designs, manufactures, and supplies complete gas turbine air intake systems, from the filtration system to the expansion joint and inlet plenum, through the air inlet silencer.
We offer a standardized modular construction for clean air intake systems for small and medium-sized gas turbines by collaborating with the major global players in the production of both static and self-cleaning filter media for any installation environment: on-shore, offshore, tropical, desert and arctic. We also offer the most commonly used accessories, such as anti-icing systems and evaporative coolers.
Sistemi Industriali designs, manufactures, and supplies the complete scope of supply from the inlet expansion joint through to the stack exit.
Sistemi Industriali offers free-standing or supported stacks with customized layouts that are tailored to withstand environmental loads (e.g., wind, snow, seismic) in even the most arduous conditions. We also conduct computational fluid dynamic (CFD) analysis to best simulate the conditions of the fluid at the exhaust in all of the machine's different operating conditions. Sistemi Industriali also specializes in the construction of scrubbers (DeSOx towers) for the exhausts of large marine diesel engines.
